    MediaWorks Launches SOC for Camcorders
    Irvine-based MediaWorks (www.mediaworks-isi.com) announced the launch of the company with the shipment of a highly integrated chip for MPEG4 video. The system-on-a-chip (SOC) highly integrates circuitry needed for OEMs to support DVD-quality video resolution and still photos. The company is focusing on digital video.
