MeetingSense Gets $3M
San Diego-based MeetingSense Software announced this morning that it has raised $3M in a Series A funding. The round came from TVC Capital LLC. MeetingSense develops software used to manage and capture action items during business meetings. Jeb Spencer of TVC Capital has been named Chairman of MeetingSense's board of directors as part of the funding; MeetingSense said that it will use the financing to accelerate new product development, expand sales efforts, and support its world-wide marketing initiatives. The company said that its customer include Cisco, Hewlett-Packard, Chase, Pfizer, Dell, and other companies.
