Mergere Rolls Out Open Source Maven Support

Marina Del Rey-based Mergere, which is commercializing the popular Apache Maven and Apache Continuum open source software projects, has rolled out its distribution of those projects. Mergere said today that its Mergere Maestro platform provides automated integration, testing, packaging, and reporting capabilities for development projects. Apache Maven is a build manager used by software developers building Java applications; Apache continuum is an integration server that is part of Maven also used for building Java applications. Merger will provide a subscription-based, hosted server for production and developer-level support and maintenance of those projects. Mergere is the product of Simula Labs, which is backed by Mission Ventures and Redpoint Ventures and headed by Gluecode founder Winston Damarillo.
