MicroMedia Filtration Gains Series A Funding

Lake Forest-based MicroMedia Filtration, a developer of wastewater treatment systems for municipalities, said today that it has raised a Series A funding. The funding came from Costa Mesa-based SAIL Venture Partners. Amount of the equity funding was not disclosed, however, a regulatory filing places the amount at $3.0M. MMF said its modular systems require the fraction of the square footage of conventional systems, with capital costs of 50% of other systems, as well as requirements for 80% less power usage. MMF said its waste systems are installed in Fontana and Adelanto, as well as in Texas and New England. More information »
