Irvine-based Microsemi, a manufacturer of analog, mixed-signal semiconductors, said today that it has acquired TSI Microelectronics Corporation, in a deal worth $2.0M in cash. TSI Microelectronics is a provider of "custom hybrid" semiconductors for the defense and aerospace industry, including milspec replacements for discontinued integrated circuits. TSI Microelectronics was based in Danvers, Mass. According to Microsemi, TSI had revenues in the last 12 months of $1.2M. Microsemi develops analog and mixed-signal integrated semiconductors for the power management and signals market.
