Microsemi Sets New European Headquarters

Aliso Viejo-based Microsemi, the developer of semiconductor products, said this morning that it has set a new, European headquarters in Ennis, Ireland. Microsemi says it has been in the country for twenty years, and is now bolstering staff and expanding in the country. Microsemi said it now has approximately 300 people in Ennis, after recruiting an additional 50 staff so far this year. In conjunction with the new European headquarters, Microsemi said it has launched a new, Microsemi Scholarship in Engineering at the nearby University of Limerick. Microsemi said its facilities in Ennis are focused on development, manufacturing and high reliability testing of semiconductors to meet stringent aerospace, satellite, medical and security standards.
