Mindbody Names New CEO

San Luis Obispo-based wellness software developer Mindbody has named a new CEO, saying on Tuesday it has appointed Fritz Lanman to the position. Lanman replaces current CEO Josh McCarter, who has moved to Mindbody's Board of Directors. Lanman, currently serving as President of ClassPass and Mindbody Marketplace, was CEO of ClassPass pre-acquisition, according to the company. He was the lead investor in ClassPass, in both its seed and Series A round, and also served at Microsoft.
