Newport Beach-based semiconductor maker Mindspeed Technologies said this morning that it has added Robert J. Conrad to the firm's board of directors. Conrad is Executive Vice President and General Manager of Fairchild Semiconductor's Mobile, Computing, Consumer and Communications (MCCC) product group. Conrad has also served at Analog Devices and Texas Instruments. Mindspeed said Conrad would help the firm as it executes on its growth strategy. The new board appointment brings the firm's board size up to seven.
