Mobilecause Launches iPhone App
Los Angeles-based Mobilecause, a mobile fundraising startup, said today that it has launched a new iPhone application for charities. According to Mobilecause, the new application, uGive, allows charities to get the word out and solicit financial and social media support for their groups. The firm said the free application allows users to get the latest information about charities, see their mobile giving campaigns and videos, and also donate money to those groups. Mobilecause helps nonprofits run SMS charity giving campaigns, where users can donate to those nonprofits using their cell phones.
