mobileStorm Personalizes App Promotion
Los Angeles-based mobileStorm, the mobile, SMS, email, and marketing firm headed by Jared Reitzen, has launched a new product to help its customers promote their mobile applications. According to the firm, its new mobileStorm App Accelerator uses information about current customers to tailor the promotion of a company's mobile applications to those users. mobileStorm says it identifies the operating system of devices used by current users in a company's database, and personalizes an SMS message for each member with instructions about downloading the correct version of their mobile app. Pricing on the new service was not announced by the company.
