Akonix Receives Enterprise Win
San Diego-based Akonix (www.akonix.com) announced that Truman Arnold Companies has tapped the company for its enterprise-wide instant messaging security solution. Truman will implement the Akonix L7 Enterprise gateway, in order to allow employees to use instant messaging (IM) to communicate with co-workers, customers, and partners. The Akonix solution allows for the management of IM networks, control by users, department groups, and types and sizes of files. Akonix is backed by Menlo Ventures, Mission Ventures, Palomar Ventures, and Windward Ventures.
