San Diego-based RF Magic announced that it has received a strategic investment from Comcast Interactive Capital. RF Magic develops broadband RF systems, integrated circuits, and systems for set top boxes and wireless modems. The company is focused on integrating broadband radio frequency silicon into high volume consumer markets. RF Magic's existing investors include Conexant, Echostar, and ST Microelectronics. The amount of the strategic investment was not disclosed.
