Qualstar Ships Tape Library
Simi Valley-based Qualstar has shipped a new tape library solution. Qualstar's TLS and RLS-Series tape libraries now support Quantum SDLT 600 tape drives. The Quantum DLT drives allow Qualstar's automated tape libraries to support up to 300 gigabytes of capacity per tape. The technology allows for bouth double the capacity and data rate of existing generation of drives.
