THQ Buys Game Developer
Calabasas-based THQ has acquired game developer Blue Tongue Entertainment. Blue Tongue is an Australian-based firm which recently developed THQ's Polar Express for PlayStation 2, PC, and Nintendo Gamecube systems. THQ already operates game development resources in Australia, and the acquisition will give it sites in both Brisbane and Melbourne. Terms were not disclosed. THQ said that Blue Tongue is currently in development of two additional cross-platform releases for 2005.
