Northern California angel investment group Keiretsu Forum said yesterday that it is opening up a new chapter in the Los Angeles area. The chapter, which will hold a meeting in January, said that it will focus on emerging technology opportunities life science, healthcare, and biotech, real estate, and media/entertainment. The new chapter is being formed by John Dilts, a former Northern California Keiretsu Forum member now in Westlake Village. The Keiretsu Forum reports that it has invested a total of $33M in 54 deals over the last few years, mostly in Northern California. The new chapter adds to the number of organized angel investment groups in the area, which includes the Tech Coast Angels and Pasadena Angels.
