Callwave Awarded Call Patent
Santa Barbara-based Callwave announced today that it has received a patent on its call return capability. The US Patent and Trademark Office assigned the patent on "Methods and Apparatus for Returning a Call over a Telephony System", which describing a method for returning missed calls even if caller's number is private or blocked. Callwave provides Voice-over-IP services including Internet-based call screening, voice mailboxes, and FAX services.
