Tandberg Launches SMB Tape Library
Poway-based Tandberg Data said today that it has launched a new tape library targeted at small and medium businesses. The company's Tandberg S234 tape library provides either 9.6TB or 19.2TB of tape backup in a 4U tape factor. The autoloader provides backup capabilities for small and mid-sized businesses. Tandberg said that the new library provides LTO drives, barcode reading, and SCSI, iSCSI, or Fibre connectivity. The new hardware starts at $10,889.
