Preventsys Ties Into Database Vulnerability Tool
Carlsbad-based Preventsys said this week that it has teamed with NGSSoftware to monitor database vulnerabilities. NGSSoftware provides a software tool that monitors Oracle and SQL Server databases for security vulnerabilities. The deal will include data from NGS into the Preventsys Risk Dashboard. The integration means that database vulnerabilities will be included in the Preventsys risk management tools and reporting. Preventsys provides risk management software that provides security administrators information about their vulnerability to attacks by hackers and viruses.
