Conexant Delivers IPTV Bundle
Newport Beach-based Conexant said Monday that it has teamed with Espial and Tematic to develop a highly integrated platform for IP set-top boxes. The providers have developed a combined hardware and software platform for delivery of IP-based multimedia and digital video over broadband IP networks. The platform includes Conexant's MPEG-4/H.264 coprocessor and host decoder, Espial's IPTV middleware and applications, and Tematic's IPTV software.
