Marina Del Rey-based CinemaNow said today that CinemaNow Japan has inked a deal with Warner Bros. International Television to feature films for download in Japan. CinemaNow Japan, which is a joint venture between CinemaNow, Tokyo-based Transcosmos and Microsoft, will feature Warner Bros. films for download via broadband connection. The titles included will include both current titles and library titles from the Warner Bros. collection. All titles will be available via both CinemaNow Japan's pay-per-view and monthly subscription services. CinemaNow's catalog in the U.S. has included titles from Warner Bros. since the end of 2002.
