San Diego-based Websense, a developer of employee internet management software, and Network Engines, a provider of security appliances, said this week that the two companies are working together to create an integrated security appliance. The companies said that they will combine the Websense Web Security Suite, Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server software, and Network Engines security appliances. Websense and Network Engines will co-market the solution, and help support a the sales channel with the solution. Websense provides software for scanning for viruses and other network threats.
