Warner Bros. Invests In European Game Publisher
Burbank-based Warner Bros. Entertainment said today that it will make an investment in SCi Entertainment Group, the parent company of Eidos Interactive. Warner said the deal represents 10.3 percent of SCi's share capital. The deal comes as part of an agreement for licensing and distributiong of games based on Warner Bros. Entertainment properties, including Warner's Batman, Looney Tunes, The OC, and other properties. SCi Entertainment said the investment will provide it with firepower to accerlate its growth initiatives.
