Marina Del Rey-based video download service CinemaNow and Intel Corp. said Thursday that the two companies are in a collaboration to Intel Viiv specific support for legal downloading and recording of motion pictures to blank DVD discs. Intel and CinemaNow said that the two will optimize CinemaNow's Burn-to-DVD service for Intel Viiv-based PCs, and that CinemaNow will also deliver Intel Viiv-specific technology capabilities, including access to home movie content over home networks. CinemaNow has been offering its Burn-to-DVD services since July of last year.
