The Active Network Acquires Cool Running
San Diego-based The Active Network said today that it has acquired Cool Running, an online web site focused on runners. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Active Network said the acquisition will extend the firm's content and services in the running industry. Active Network provides online services for community service and sports organizations.
