Nexsan Ups iSCSI Performance
Woodland Hills-based Nexsan Technologies has upgraded the firm's iSCSI support, the company said this week. Nexsan said that it has boosted performance of its iSCSI support on its SATABeast and SATABoy storage arrays. The firmware upgrade allows for performance of 100 MB per second with a single iSCSI port, and 180 megabytes per second using dual ports. The upgrade is available for free to the firm's customers. Nexsan is a manufacturer of SATA-based storage arrays.
