Ortiva Wireless Deploys With GoTV
La Jolla-based Ortiva Wireless said earlier this week that it is in a commercial deployment of its wireless platform with Sherman Oaks-based GoTV Networks. Ortiva said that it has completed a successful trial of its products with GoTV, and that GoTV will use its product to improve the viewing and listening experience for its on-demand, mobile television programming. Ortiva is backed by Artiman Ventures, Avalon Ventures, Comcast Interactive Capital and Mission Ventures; GoTV is supported by Bessemer Venture Partners, Charles River Ventures, and Motorola.
