Mad Catz Interactive Buys Take-Two Unit
San Diego-based Mad Catz Software has purchased a unit of Take-Two Interactive Software, the gaming software maker, in a deal worth approximately $3.7M. Mad Catz and Take-Two said that Mad Catz has purchased Take Two's Joytech video game accessories subsidiary. Mad Catz said that it expects the acquisition to add at least $10M in annual revenues to the firm. Joytech is headquartered in in Windsor England and New York City.
