AMO Names Meier President
Santa Ana-based Advanced Medical Optics, a manufacturer of medical devices for the opthalmology market, said this morning that it has named Richard Meier as the firm's President. Meier will also remain COO of the firm. According to AMO, James Mazzo, the firm's prior president, remains chairman and CEO of the firm. Meier has been at AMO since 2002, and has been COO since February of this year.
