Hawthorne-based SpaceX said Wednesday that the firm has completed a review for NASA as part of its participation in a program to develop a commercial rocket for resupplying the International Space Station. SpaceX, which is funded by Paypal founder Elon Musk, said that it completed a Systems Requirements Review (SRR) under NASA's Commercial Oprbital Transporation Services (COTS) program. SpaceX is one of two companies, the other being Rocketplane-Kistler, which is developing commercial space vehicles for NASA. The review is one of a series of milestones which the firm must meet, before the first launch of SpaceX's Falcon rocket for the NASA program.
