Nexsan Takes On Xserve Market
Thousand Oaks-based Nexsan, a provider of SATA disk storage systems, said today that the firm has rolled out a new storage solution specifically for the Apple Xserve and Mac Pro market. Nexsan said that its SATABeast Xi product provides high density, energy efficient storage for the Mac market. The new product provides up to 42TB of storage in a 4U rackmount footprint, and includes technology for idling disks which are not in use. The new product supports Fibre Channel and iSCSI connectivity.
