ShredOrDie Launches Online Sports Video Site With Tony Hawk
Or Die Networks, the firm behind Will Ferrell's FunnyOrDie.com comedy video web site, said Wednesday that it has launched a new online sports video site, ShredOrDie.com. The new, Los Angeles-based site is a collaboration with skating celebrity Tony Hawk, and will feature action sports videos from both professional and non-professional atheletes. According to the firm, the site will focus on skate, snow, surfing, BMX, motocross and action sports culture. ShredOrDie.com features a similar voting system and layout as the Will Ferrell site. Or Die Networks said it is creating a new group of celebrity-anchored, video websites using similar infrastructure, resources, and technology.
