ViewSonic Cancels IPO Plans
Walnut-based computer monitor manufacturer ViewSonic said Wednesday in a filing with the SEC that it plans to withdraw the firm's IPO. ViewSonic, in a letter to the SEC, said that it withdrew the IPO because terms obtainable in the public marketplace are not sufficiently attractive to the company. Viewsonic had filed to raise up to $143.75M on the Nasdaq as VIEW. The firm's IPO was being underwritten by JPMorgan, Banc of America Securities, Thomas Weisel Partners, and Needham & Company.
