Valeant Pharmaceuticals Sells Argentina Ops
Aliso Viejo-based Valeant Pharmaceuticals, a developer of specialty pharmaceuticals, said today that it has divested its Argentina commercial operations to a pharmaceutical company in Argentina. Financial terms of the sale and name of the buyer were not disclosed. Valeant said the move came as part of an effort to divest certain regions and simplify the firm's operations. Valeant Pharmaceuticals develops neurology, dermatology, and other pharmaceuticals.
