Sherman Oaks-based GoTV Networks, a venture-backed developer of mobile new media, said this week that it has inked three partnerships with mobile advertising firms. According to GoTV Networks, it has teamed with Millennial Media, digital SIDEBAR and Ad Infuse to provide mobile ads alongside its content. The firm said the partnerships are part of a move to transition its subscription content over the long term to an advertising-supported model. The firm credited the shift to unlimited data plans, 3G networks, and large format 3G handsets. GoTV Networks develops new media programming for mobile phones; the firm is venture backed by Bessemer Venture Partners, Charles River Ventures, Qualcomm, and Motorola Ventures.
