BioIQ Gets Win At Alere
Santa Barbara-based BioIQ, a provider of web-based, consumer health testing services, said last week that it has inked a deal to provide its services to Alere, a provider of health and wellness serviecs. According to BioIQ, the firms will work together to supply the firm's home-test kits and online reporting tools as part of Alere's offerings. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. BioIQ is venture backed by $2.5M in funding from Great Pacific Capital. BioIQ's services allow consumers to take in-home health diagnostic tests, and review and track those tests online via a web site.
