Universal Sports Taps Ooyala For Video Distribution
Santa Monica-based Universal Sports, which operates an online sports television channel, has tapped video streaming provider Ooyala for its online video distribution efforts. According to Ooyala, Universal Sports will use its video publishing and monetization platform to deliver its video archives to 25 partner web sites, including,,,,, and Financial details of the effort were not disclosed. Universal Sports is a collaboration between NBC Sports and InterMedia Partners, and focuses on Olympic and lifestyle sports.
