Active Network Releases Web-based Events Management Product
San Diego-based The Active Network, an operator of a network of services for community, sports, and other organizations, said today that it has released a new product focused on event management. The firm said its new product, ActiveEvents OnDemand, provide tools to event planners for managing conferences, meetings, tradeshows, seminars, and other events. Active Network entered the events management business in January 2008, with the acquisition of event management software firms RegOnline and WingateWeb.
