Apricorn Targets DVR Market
, a manufacturer of storage devices, is targeting the digital video recording market, saying today that it has created a new, 2TB external hard drive specifically targeted for use with DIRECTV's DVRs. The firm said its new DVR Expander adds up to 1124 hours of standard programming or 250 hours of high def to the DVRs. The devices start at $129 for the 1TB model, and is available from the firm directly as well as online retailers.
