Slacker Hits Android
San Diego-based personal radio startup Slacker has expanded its services to Android phones, the firm said this morning, in conjunction with the launch of Motorola's DROID on Verizon. Slacker, which operates a personal Internet radio service which works with PCs, smart phones, and Slacker's own devices, said the new application is free. Slacker said the application is listed on the Verizon channel of the Android Market on Motorola's DROID, and also runs on other Android phones. Slacker's software is already available for the BlackBerry and the iPhone.
