Yahoo Outsources Yahoo Shopping To PriceGrabber
Yahoo is outsourcing most of Yahoo Shopping, its comparison shopping site, to Los Angeles-based PriceGrabber, the firm told its developers Monday. Yahoo Shopping is a comparison shopping site which displays products and prices for different products, including consumer electronics, computer, and related items. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed by Yahoo. As part of the shift, Yahoo said it will no longer be providing an API to its shopping syndication services, as of March 11th.
