Kingston Ships Giant 256GB Flash Drive
Fountain Valle-based memory manufacturer Kingston Digital said Thursday that it has shipped what it says is the first, 256GB USB Flash Drive in the U.S. According to Kingston, its new DataTraveler 310 is a follow on to a similar USB flash drive it shipped earlier this year to Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The flash drive has a MSRP of $1,108.00. For comparison, the drive capacity is equivalent to up to 365 CDs, or 54 DVDs.
