Warner Bros. Buys Turbine
Burbank-based Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group said yesterday that it has acquired Massachusetts-based videogame developer Turbine, maker of the online games The Lord of the Rings Online, Asheron's Call, and Dungeons & Dragons Online: Eberron Unlimited. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment oversees home video, video games, wireless, and digital distribution for Warner Bros.
