Irvine-based YouMail, startup headed by Alex Quilici which offers personalized voicemail services, said Wednesday that it has launched a new version of the firm's BlackBerry app. YouMail said that the updated Version 2.0 of its product adds a streamline user interface, enhanced organization tools, better transcription viewing, and integration with Blackberry's default SMS client. YouMail initially launched its BlackBerry app in February of last year. The application is free. YouMail also offers a similar client for the iPhone. YouMail is backed by the Tech Coast Angels and VantagePoint Venture Partners.
