DocStoc Links With New HP Printers
Santa Monica-based DocStoc, the online professional document sharing and marketplace startup headed by Jason Nazar, is one of the web services features on HP's new line of web-enabled printers. HP launched the new printers at the beginning of the week, showing a new device which allows users to directly access web information sites from a touch sensitive display on the front of those printers. As part of the launch, HP said this week that it was launching the new printers with new "print applications" from partner DocStoc, Live Nation, Fandango, as well as Yahoo, Facebook, Picasa, and others. No other details on the new printer app from DocStoc were detailed by HP.
