YuMe Sets Up Shop In Santa Monica
Redwood City-based YuMe, a Bay Area provider of video advertising technology, announced today that it has set up shop in Santa Monica with a new sales office. The firm, which is backed by Accel Partners, BV Capital, DAG Ventures, Khosla Ventures and Menlo Ventures, said it has opened an office along Main Street, and has hired three new hires at the location. YuMe said it has added Marc Hale, Blake Hebert, and Evan Hsieh to its sales team in the location, with Hale joining from such firms as MySpace, Sony Pictures and IBM; Hebert joining from Jumpstart Automotive Group; and Hsieh from Horizon and Carat Fusion.
