WebVisible Expands In India
Irvine-based WebVisible, which helps small and medium sized businesses place and manage their Internet advertising, announced today that it has opened up a new facility in Mumbai, India. According to the firm, the new operation will house a new technology and operations team. The firm said the new, 15,000 square foot office will help it maintain its comeptitive advantage. The operation currently has nine employees, and the firm says it plans to expand to 30 by year's end, and up to approximately 130 people over the next 24 months. The company said it is hiring project managers, engineers, and technical leads in the area of software and quality assurance and database administrators. WebVisible said the overseas expansion follows rapid expansion of the firm's employment in 2009, when it doubled its staff; the firm said it has been looking to fill roughly 100 new positions across Southern California and North Carolina. In fact, the firm even opened up a Los Angeles office in May in the Electronic Arts building in Playa Vista, hoping to tap into the talent base on LA's west side.
