San Diego-based
Active Network, which operates an online service for sports and other community group registration and management, said today that it has been selected by both UC Santa Cruz and UC Merced. According to the firm, both schools are using Active Network's operations management software and hosted technology for their campus recreation departments. Financial impact of the two wins was not announced. Active Network said it already supplies its system to UC Santa Barbara, UC Irvine, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Fullerton, Humboldt, Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Bernardino, San Francisco, San Jose and Long Beach, along with other schools.
