Active Storage Names CFO
Torrance-based Active Storage, the RAID storage firm founded by ex-Apple executives, and backed by Intel Capital, Mission Ventures, and Valhalla Partners, said Wednesday that it has hired on a CFO. The firm said it has hired Jane Wike as its CFO. Wike had previously served as CFO of Apriso Corporation, and also served at Arroyo Optics, Cybermedia, Crescenda Wireless, and ISOCOR. Wike had already been serving as Interim CFO for the company since this spring. Active Storage develops RAID storage products aimed at the post-production, broadcast, publishing, education and science sectors. The firm's founders were responsible for Apple's XRAID products.
