EdgeCast Gets Into Cloud Storage

said Friday that it has entered into the cloud storage market. EdgeCast said that it is offering up cloud-based storage using its content delivery network as a beta service, and would start offering its service and transfer fees for free during the beta. EdgeCast is an operator of a content delivery network (CDN). The company said that, after the beat, it will charge 7.5 cents per gigabyte per month for the starge service.
