YouMail, the enhanced voice mail service run by Alex Quilici, said Thursday that it seen over two million downloads on the Blackberry application store, Blackberry AppWorld. The firm--which allows users to provide personalized voice mail messages, transcriptions of voice mails, email notification, and other advanced voice mail features--said the downloads make it the among the most popular voice mail and utility applications in the app store. Youmail's service works with post-paid mobile phone carriers, including AT&T Wireless, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, and T-Mobile. YouMail's Blackberry application has been available since February of 2009; the firm's iPhone version was released in June of 2009. The firm also added an Android application in August of last year. YouMail is backed by the Tech Coast Angels and VantagePoint Venture Partners.
